From the state of Colorado and born in the early 1950's, Paul Hardy began his musical career early on playing the piano and guitar. Along with his musical family he grew into his own as a musician, playing all the great pop music of the 1960's and 1970's. At the same time he began developing as a classical pianist, songwriter and composer. In his teens he was part of the professional group Rock Candy that played throughout Colorado and for a time in the Chicago area. Along with another band member he went on to become part of the acoustic duo Stallings and Hardy, featuring original songs written by the two songwriters. This led P.F. Hardy to a recording contract with an independent record producer in Hollywood .
Having attended the University of Colorado School of Music studying Theory and Composition, along with piano, Mr. Hardy in time took up residence in Minnesota . For the next 25 years he continued to develop as a pianist, to compose songs and other music, as well as teach music as a private lesson instructor with numerous students through the years. In addition to this, he worked in the piano technology field as a Registered Piano Technician with a diverse clientele ranging from Colleges and Universities to Music stores and the public.
Now making his home in the Twin Cities, Paul Hardy is thrilled to be making his original music available to the public in both print and CD Recording, along with providing music publishing and arranging services, in addition to commissioned compositions. He is also an ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) member as both a WRITER and PUBLISHER.
