"Playing a Paul Hardy composition is like participating in an exiting adventure. His compositions are interesting and varied. Paul’s writing style is very kind to the musician, making his compositions easy to understand."

(The following is a recommendation of Paul Hardy 's work for serious piano study.)
"I have found Paul's music to be of very high quality, requiring considerable time to master its technical aspects. Although these are difficult, requiring a previous working knowledge of fingering, scale patterns, arpeggios etc. the true difficulty lies in its ability to convey to the listener, the feelings and moods of the composer. This takes a lot of time at the piano, figuring out what the composer tends to covey through a very beautiful, often haunting melody line as well as the technical aspect of the piece.
Paul has a natural gift for creating many different styles of melodies, often borrowing from the lyrical line of Chopin or Beethoven.
I was honored to have premiered his composition "Serenade in E Major" in 1991 at the Central Minnesota Music School in St. Cloud Minn. "
